Eaton started having a World Championship record within the 100 meters as he recorded 10.23 within the decathlon’s opening event. The decathlon includes the 100-meter dash, long jump, shot put, high jump, 400-meter run, 110-meter hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw and 1,500-meter run. Eaton has discussed how his holistic training regimen prepares him to become a world leader within this diverse number of events. The planet champion within the decathlon is referred to as the world’s greatest athlete.
